Maya Doron
Maya Doron is an associate attorney at FMBK whose practice has focused exclusively on family law since being admitted to the State Bar of California in 2019. However, Maya’s family law career began long before she received her Juris Doctorate.
Prior to law school, Maya graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Madison with a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development and Family Studies, along with a Criminal Justice Minor. She then went on to receive her J.D. from Southwestern Law School in 2019.
While in law school, Maya clerked for the Honorable Amy M. Pellman, the Supervising Judge for the Family Law Division of the Los Angeles Superior Court. While working for Judge Pellman, Maya researched and analyzed numerous family law cases including child custody and property disputes.
Maya also devoted her time to many pro bono family law activities. She interned for the Harriett Buhai Family Law Center and volunteered for Levitt & Quinn through their family and veteran night clinics. As a Southwestern Law student, Maya was involved in the Family Law and Dependency Society.
After graduating from law school and prior to joining FMBK, Maya exclusively practiced family law throughout Los Angeles. Now, Maya serves as a board member of the Harriett Buhai Family Law Center and continues to volunteer on a monthly basis through their Client Orientation and Assessment System Program. In addition, she is currently an active member of her Alumni Board, where she plans Southwestern Law School student and alumni focused events.
