Christine Desbois is an associate attorney at FMBK whose practice focuses exclusively on family law. She was admitted to the California Bar in 2025.

Christine earned her J.D. from USC Gould School of Law. While studying at USC, she externed for the Honorable David W. Swift of the Los Angeles Superior Court, where she gained invaluable insight into domestic violence law and complex custody disputes.

On campus, Christine served as treasurer for the Barbara F. Bice Public Interest Law Foundation and helped organize programming to promote public interest law. She also volunteered for the Harriett Buhai Center for Family Law, a non-profit providing free family law assistance to residents of Los Angeles, and worked with Dr. Tom Lyon and the Children’s Law Center of California, where she developed her skills interviewing children navigating dependency proceedings.

Christine received a B.A. in Psychology and Anthropology from Columbia University in the City of New York. She particularly enjoyed her studies in sociocultural anthropology, social psychology, and early childhood development, which ultimately served as the foundation for her decision to pursue a career in family law.

Before matriculating to USC Gould, she worked as a paralegal on international arbitration matters at Quinn Emanuel in Paris, France, and on corporate matters at Cooley LLP in New York. She joined FMBK following her time as a summer associate with the firm in 2024.
