Chelsea Stevens
Chelsea Stevens is a Senior Associate at FMBK whose practice focuses exclusively on family law. She joined the firm after participating in its Summer Associate Program in 2017 and is currently on track to become a Certified Family Law Specialist*.
Chelsea’s practice is primarily focused on complex financial matters, handling large asset and high-net worth matters. Chelsea prioritizes early case management and encourages parties to take control of their matter by working to settle their case in a way that works for their family. If settlement is not workable, Chelsea has significant experience in litigating complex financial matters, complex custody issues, and domestic violence issues.
Chelsea earned her J.D. from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, graduating in the top 25% of her class. While in law school, she clerked for the Hon. Marc D. Gross at the Stanley Mosk Courthouse, where she worked on complex family law matters including dissolution, custody disputes, and paternity actions. Chelsea also worked with the Los Angeles Center for Law and Justice, providing low-cost legal services to underserved communities.
At Loyola, Chelsea served as President of both the Women’s Law Association and the Children and Family Law Association, reflecting her early dedication to advocacy and family law.
She received her B.A. in Political Science from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
