Suzanna Megrabyan is an associate at FMBK. Her practice focuses exclusively in family law, including but not limited to divorce and contested child custody proceedings.
Prior to joining FMBK, Suzanna was an associate at a well-respected law firm in Woodland Hills, where her focus was on family law litigation, with an emphasis on mediation and settlement. She also served as a Family Law judicial extern for the Honorable Marc D. Gross of the Los Angeles Superior Court where she researched and briefed novel issues of law and complex fact patterns, including child custody, paternity, and domestic violence.
Suzanna is active in legal aid in Los Angeles, including the Harriett Buhai Center for Family Law, a center that provides free assistance and legal education to the underprivileged. While interning at the HBCFL, Suzanna edited the HBCFL manual, California Family Law Basics, to include changes to the Family Law Judicial Council forms. She is presently an Alumni All-Star at HBCFL due to the hours that she dedicated to volunteering.
Having graduated magna cum laude from UCLA, Suzanna was a member of the Regents Scholar Society, a scholarship only offered to the top 1.5% of applicants to UCLA. She went on to receive her Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School. While at Loyola Law School, Suzanna trained in Collaborative Law, a team approach to resolving disputes where participants work with a team of professionals to prepare their own agreements.
Suzanna speaks Armenian and is a member of the Armenian Bar Association.
In her free time, she enjoys crossword puzzles, spending time with her nephews, and volunteering at the St. Francis Center.
