Tristyn English-BeckwithLaw Clerk Family Law
Tristyn English-Beckwith became a Law Clerk at FMBK after completing the FMBK Summer Associate program in 2019 and finishing her last year of law school. Once she receives a passing result for the California Bar Exam that she recently took, her practice will focus exclusively in family law.
Tristyn earned her J.D. from the University of Southern California, Gould School of Law, in 2020. While in law school, she worked with various family law non-profits including, Peace Over Violence and the Harriett Buhai Center for Family Law. She received the Wiley W. Manuel Certificate for Pro Bono Legal Services for voluntary provision of legal services to the poor or disadvantaged, improving the law and the legal system, and increasing access to justice.
Additionally, Tristyn clerked for the Honorable Amy M. Pellman at the Los Angeles Superior Court, Family Division, where she had the opportunity to experience complex child custody, dissolution, and surrogacy cases. While at USC, Tristyn served as President of the Black Law Students Association.
Tristyn is a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin, where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Political Communication with a minor in African and African Diaspora Studies and a certificate in Public Policy. She is a native of Dallas, Texas, and loves spending time with friends while enjoying good barbecue and cheering on the Cowboys.
